One can never have too much happiness in her life, and that's why I'm excited to tell you about the 'Joy' page, which will be a feature of our new website. Here's a sneak peek at our first offer:
'Pay It Forward: Refer us to a friend. If they sign a contract, not only will they get 10% off, but you will also get 10% off your current balance due.'
I truly find it an honor to have this job, and it is a privilege to be a part of your celebration. I know that the costs of putting an event together can add up quickly. As an event coordinator, part of my job is to help you save money wherever possible and help you find the best deals. I hope that the 'Joy' page will add to that.
More website excitement coming soon. In the meantime, I'm wishing you a week full of good moments!

Kimberly and Kristian; A Sneak Peek
Thanks to Amanda for sending us a sneak peek from Kim and Kristian's wedding! She typically works out of San Diego, so if you would like to get in touch with her just let me know and I'll put you in touch. Enjoy!

The day begins...

Before Kim and Kristian saw each other on Saturday, they were both filled with nervous excitement. As soon as they were together, a calm came over them. True love at first sight.

All day people awed over Kim's Gone With the Wind / Scarlett O'Hara look.

Let the dancing begin.

Later, after the traditional father/daughter dance, the father of the bride came back out on the dance floor to live it up and truly celebrate this joyous day.
Kim and Kristian really made sure to enjoy every last moment.
Wishing you a very happily ever after!

Kimberly and Kristian; Waverley Chapel in Santa Ana, Harborside Pavilion on Balboa
Although it was an early Saturday morning for everyone involved, people couldn't have cared less. The weather was perfect, and the morning light coming through the stained glass windows of the chapel echoed the beauty of the ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Balboa for breath-taking views, joyous celebration, and lots of dancing. You could tell Kim and Kristian really took time to take it all in and enjoy every moment. It was a true honor to be a part of their day.

And the water created a beautiful backdrop for the occasion.

Congratulations Kim and Kristian! Hope you are enjoying Hawaii!
Here is a taste of some of the day's elements. I will share pro pics as soon as I get them...
The weather was absolutely perfect for enjoying the terrace.

It was my first time working with Miss Lily, and I couldn't have been more impressed. The flowers were exquisite!
The menu was delectable.
And the water created a beautiful backdrop for the occasion.
Congratulations Kim and Kristian! Hope you are enjoying Hawaii!

The Anti-Wedding
What am I doing posting an article about an anti-wedding wedding?
In summary, the article is about two Washington Post reports who set out to plan an anti-wedding. They were aiming for a wedding that bucked tradition, didn't cost much, and liberated the couple getting married. They were looking to help a couple avoid wedding mayhem. In the end, it turned out a bit different than what they expected.
They found that yes, they were able to plan a wedding for about $3,000. That included feeding 40 guests. They also found that they were able to buck tradition. However, in true reality the couple ended up with a wedding that perfectly fit their personality and their desires. The anti-planners also found that there was still a lot of planning, despite their best efforts. In the end the uniting of two people in-love was joyously celebrated.
Reading this article reminded me of the very most important element of wedding planning--celebrating your joy. When it comes down to it, the most important thing to me is that you have a celebration that is one that you will remember, one that reflects each of your personalities, and one that unites you in marriage. Swans or pizza, we can do it all. Just a thought for today...
(If you would like, check out the story. Warning, it's a bit of a read. Enjoy!)

Where Did Summer Go...
and where did the month of August go? Well, I will have a lot of new things to show you soon; I also promise you some wedding eye candy after this weekend's wedding. In the meantime, I thought I would share a personal event...

Yes, I am the girl who married the automotive engineer. He's so passionate about cars, and that passion is one of the many things I love about him. Well, last weekend he got to drive in an autocross event. It's something he has been talking about doing since I met him, and it definitely lived up to his expectations. While I didn't ride this time--yes I have ridden at the track before--I took a bunch of video and photos for him. Here are a few for you guys...
